A strong commitment to responsible and sustainable investments

Finance for Tomorrow is an initiative launched by the Paris financial center to promote more sustainable finance in France and abroad. By demonstrating that investments in the low-carbon and inclusive economy are financially beneficial and good for our planet, it helps to redirect financial flows towards more responsible placements. After 3 years of existence, Finance for Tomorrow needs to establish a new website. More attractive, better organized, and better showcasing this strong commitment.

A site that is both institutional and dynamic

The client, Paris Europlace, is looking for a partner aligned with the general philosophy of the project. As a B Corp certified agency, we fully resonate with this initiative in favor of a greener and more virtuous economy. In 2015, with the holding of COP21 in Paris, a boost was given. And the stakes are high: to help Paris Europlace solidify its leading position at the international level as an actor in sustainable development financing. To achieve this, it needs a site that is both institutional and dynamic. A site that reflects current events, new initiatives being launched, and events being organized. The annual Climate Finance Day event, for example, which mobilizes the financial sector in favor of the fight against climate change and is also organized by Paris Europlace, has its own parallel site. After consultation, it was decided to also revamp this one in order to visually and more directly link it to that of Finance for Tomorrow.

Our consulting strength

Finance for Tomorrow is a rapidly growing organization, with ambition. Its director, Anne-Claire, is rarely available. She spends a lot of time promoting this movement, at conferences or by giving interviews. By working with 148 Agence Collective, she relies on an agile, responsive agency that is also a source of advice.

We provide our advice and expertise on the site architecture and the highlighting of key information. The main idea is to enrich the menu with pages like “Our Activities,” “Events,” “Press,” to add a job board, or to integrate a scrolling banner on the Home page with the latest news.

Our ability to adapt to budget constraints

Even though Finance for Tomorrow is backed by Paris Europlace, it is structured like a start-up, with a limited budget. At Agency 148, we know how to adapt to budgetary constraints. We find solutions. For example, to reduce the costs of creation and development, we design the Climate Finance Day website based on that of Finance for Tomorrow. We both adapt the graphic identity and the structure.

These two sites are created using free blocks. A block can be, for example, a text box, a photo, a text + photo box, two photos, etc. All these blocks integrate the visual identity of the site, and once they are created, all that is left is to fill them in and arrange them. All can be reused as many times as desired across both sites at a lower cost. Moreover, it gives the client great autonomy. They can add pages, most of the time without additional development.

A scalable site that gives the client a great deal of autonomy

This autonomy is all the more interesting as the Climate Finance Day site is scalable. Each year, it must come to life before, during, and after the event. Before, it must handle registrations and present the program and speakers. During, it must highlight key moments and the various speeches, showcasing the day’s photos. After, the site must allow users to relive the event until the following year. Thanks to an "Archives" tab, information from previous editions can be found.

The redesign of this site allows Finance for Tomorrow to shift from a very institutional website that presented an ambition to a much more concrete site that showcases all actions and events. It has become a sort of hub, with several linked sites. There is also the "Paris for Tomorrow Week" site that has just integrated, which again shows the agility and adaptability of the sites created by 148 Agence Collective.
